The flag

The Muscovy flag was created when Muscovy built its first naval vessels, and was used mostly as a naval ensign until the nineteenth century. The colors have been based on those of the Dutch flag. There is no official meaning assigned to the colors of the Muscovy flag.

The anthem

The main intro from Muscovy intro was taken from “Epic fragment” by Ukrainian composer Mykola Lysenko. Russia is using USSR’s anthem right now.

Matryoshka

Matryoshka was made in the 1890 by Zvyozdochkin and Malyutin. They took the idea from the Japanese Shichi-fuku-jin (the Seven Gods of Fortune) nesting dolls.

Pelmeni

“Pelmeni” is a traditional dish invented by the Komi people, which means “bread ear” in the Komi language and is spelled “pelneni”. However, during the reign of Ivan IV (Ivan the Terrible), Muscovy attacked and conquered the territories of Komi, and since the 16th century, this dish has also been associated with Muscovian cuisine.
